Full Time Hybrid QuickBase Developer

Job DescriptionThe Quickbase Application Developer is responsible for the design, and creation of new Quickbase applications from the ground up. This role is also responsible for the continued enhancement, bug fixing and maintenance of the firm''s existing Quickbase applications. The Quickbase Application Developer will play a role in the research and requirements gathering when designing new Quickbase applications to support the firm''s business needs. This role also works alongside other Quickbase solution builders and will provide guidance and best practice methods when engaged in Quickbase projects. The individual in this role reports to the IT Manager - Applications Support, and is the primary resource to fulfill the firm''s frontend and backend Quickbase development needs.Technical Qualifications: At least 5 years'' experience building Quickbase solutions leveraging the Quickbase API, and pipelines. Front end development experience. Extensive knowledge working with web scripting and programming languages such as HTML 5, Ruby, Python, Javascript, & CSS. Experience creating automations, data integrations and workflows between Quickbase and cloud-based channels using Quickbase Pipelines. Experience working with relational databases, and manipulating data using T-SQL. Quickbase Application Builder Certification. Experience working with the Quickbase HTTP API to access Quickbase applications over the web. General experience working with API integrations - JSON, XML, authentication methods, encryption methods working with REST & SOAP web services and APIs. Experience building user interfaces and working with UI/UX teams. Strong understanding of the entire web development process including design, development and deployment, as well as back-end knowledge. Strong low-code cloud-based system development experience required. Desired Skills Experience managing projects using Agile method, Jira knowledge preferred. Additional experience with the following scripting and programming and scripting languages: VB .Net; Powershell; XML; and XSL. Strong knowledge of client/server & database application environments. Strong familiarity working with Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures, and relational database structures. Strong understanding of Microsoft PC and server software and related technologies. Professional Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience required. 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing Quickbase applications. Experience supporting users in a professional services environment is required. Law firm experience preferred but not required. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence others in a positive manner. Ability to function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, prioritize multiple projects on a daily basis, and adjust to shifting priorities. Strong planning, project management and organizational skills. Strong sense of urgency and a high-energy level. Facility analyzing, working with and presenting data.
