Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years. Licenses and Certifications Required: Valid Texas Class C Drivers License. Notes to Applicants The Program Specialist is responsible for completing the downloading and initial intake on short-term rentals (STR) applications and renewals submitted on line through the AFO system. On line submissions account for approximately 85% of all submissions. They will also staff the Intake Office during normal business hours and meet face to face with customers on STR application submissions. Research information as requested and/or needed. Compile data and write informational reports. Perform tasks related to department/program surveying and reporting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
