Summary: Must be able to lead/coordinate a small team of mechanical and electrical engineers/technicians (2-3 people) in the install, start-up and debug of automated assembly equipment in a manufacturing setting. Resource must have: Really looking for someone who has experience with safety and machine guarding. Familiarity with safety standards (ANSI, ISO etc.) Experience with mechanical equipment design and machine safety guarding Familiarity with Designing software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Good written and oral communication skills Capable of multitasking Managing vendors; Develop Scope of work and cost estimates; Ability to develop schedule and forecast Ability to work with minimal direction Location - He will be primarily focused in Kennebunk and Salt Lake City to begin with but expected to support as and when needed to other sites (Durham, NC; Oneonta, NY; and Reynosa. Reynosa is NOT a must). Key responsibilities include: Coordinating the task and workplan for team members to meet customer schedule Provides hands on input and insight into equipment troubleshooting Verifies equipment against drawings Coordinate installation plan with safety and plant receivers Confers with *** engineers and vendors to resolve equipment install or build discrepancies.
