Main Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist: Be the go-to person for answering any vendor and customer questions Enter accounting entries Enter payables and expenses Updating multiple spreadsheets Enter and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Ensure all subcontractors are complying with terms and conditions of the contract Review, analyze and monitor job costing reports to ensure proper financial accounting of project to include committed cost reports, change orders, progress billings, cost to complete reports Ensure signed contracts are received, properly filed and all insurance requirements are satisfied Responsible for month end close process Monitor accounting/financial position of project to ensure timely reporting of revenues & expenses Qualifications At least 4 years of accounting experience Friendly and positive personality Excellent communication Detailed oriented Desire to wear many different hats High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
