Payroll SpecialistWe have a client in North Haven, CT, who is in the non-profit industry and is a GREAT place to work! The management team has a fabulous attitude which trickles down to the rest of the team. This is a group we have worked very successfully with in the past! They work a core schedule of 8-4:30, and this role would report to the Manager of Fiscal Services. This role is 100% on-site. CFS has been engaged by the Director of Fiscal Services to assist with an opening on their payroll team, due to a vacancy in the department. We are looking for an individual who is light-hearted, pleasant, professional, has a sense of humor and is fun to be around (although knows when it is time to focus!)If this sounds like you or someone you know, keep reading! RESPONSIBILITIES: Share processing duties with the other Payroll Specialist Process timesheets and hours for approximately 950 employees Act as a point of contact for department managers who may need adjustments on timesheets. Support employees with any questions they may have. Review and research discrepancies outlined on timesheets EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE: Working knowledge of Paycom is a plus Must have at least an Associate''s degree Great attitude and desire to be part of a team! Bachelor''s degree is preferred Payroll processing experience is just a plus!
