Home Care Respiratory Therapist (RT)

A health services network in Indiana is currently seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a promising opportunity with their Home Care team in Indianapolis. Responsibilities: The Home Care Respiratory Therapist (RT) will be responsible for: Evaluating patient experiences for opportunities to improve customer satisfaction Providing patients and family members with timely and accurate information; taking appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction Ensuring that the team plans daily events so as to be as efficient as possible with time management (e.g., minimizes travel time by planning routes ahead of time) Assisting with the proper scheduling of set ups and follow up visits according to company policies and standards Properly triaging problems in the field in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies Ensuring that the team follows proper procedures for accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, takes appropriate corrective actions Ensuring that the team maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all times Submitting expense reports for travel at least once monthly and in a timely manner Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Respiratory Therapy Graduate of an accredited Respiratory School and current RCP state licensure, in good standing CRTT or RRT certification Current CPR certification Experience working with the Pediatric population Computer savvy Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Active membership in professional society Experience in a Home setting Previous experience managing Respiratory Therapists (RTs)
