Registered Respiratory Therapist

A hospital in Virginia is actively seeking a compassionate and patient-oriented Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their growing staff. In this role, the Registered Respiratory Therapist ensures optimal care services are accessible to patients at all times. Responsibilities The Registered Respiratory Therapist: Provides a variety of specialized and routine clinical therapies to the neonatal and pediatric population Works to enhance a multidisciplinary approach to patient care through daily participation in unit based rounds with multidisciplinary team Engages in process improvement activities to enhance the department / unit function Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care Pediatric experience CPR Training, PALS, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider ( NRP) designation Demonstrated interpersonal skills to communicate detailed clinical observations and evaluations with other members of the healthcare team Proven analytical skills necessary to assess patient / family needs Desired skills NPS certification
