Position Summary This position will lead, mentor, and manage Production Analysts and Technicians. Responsible for the review and preparation of internal, external and regulatory production reporting. Lead projects and interface between Accounting, IT, Marketing and Production Operations & Engineering to set up, gather, validate, process, and analyze production data. Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of estimated production, sales and processed products to internal and external groups. Provide suggestions and implement value-add changes to set ups and production system procedures. Fully document production reporting standard operating procedures, provide and facilitate cross-departmental training and identify personnel, systems or procedural gaps. Interface and coordinate with external technical vendor resources. Troubleshoot, test and implement solutions in production, reporting and analytics.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the Production Reporting team in efforts to develop, test and deploy allocation setups, formulas, reporting and analysis. Manage the team''s activities and evaluate their performance.Provide leadership for the Production Reporting Group for multi-discipline projects, particularly related to production and allocations.Document allocation and standard operating procedures (SOP).Review, analyze, validate, interpret and report volumetric sales and estimated volumes, NGL calculations and other related volumetric information from internal and external sources.Coordinate with vendor on technical resources as needed. Implement, test and document results of allocation setups. Review and process daily and monthly allocations and check for accuracy.Work with transporters and purchasers to resolve discrepancies and/or incorrect data with respect to well production, and prevent future occurrences when possible. Troubleshoot and provide guidance to Production personnel regarding allocation results and setups.Responsible for review of changes to control system (SCADA) data in the Production Accounting software.Responsible for the oversight, troubleshooting, and validation of ongoing activities concerning setups and data acquisition from field operations.Provide support for internal and third (3rd) party audits of production and measurement itiate process change, work closely with inter-company department leaders to add and improve value-add processes and streamline existing systems and dataflow.Identify gaps in systems and procedures related to production accounting, documentation and reporting. Work with IT resources, department leadership, and key business stakeholders to prioritize, implement and continuously improve allocations, reporting and analysis, including identification of software systems opportunities. Provide inter-group project management expertise to insure completion, maintenance and improvement of NGL monthly allocations, prior-period audits, and implementation of daily NGL component estimates.Work closely with multi-disciplines in identifying and implementing new processes. Interact with all levels of the organization and provide training and training documents for production gathering operations as applicable.Understand and query production systems tables. Perform production system assessments and analysis of solutions which include level of effort, system impacts, risks and dependencies.Partner with Operations to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of allocation methodologies based on physical layouts, data analysis and reports.Other Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview existing production and measurement technology at Antero and in the industry and provide recommendations for improvements or additional uses as applicable.Create ad hoc reports and KPIs using data from a variety of sources and answer questions posed from management.Certify monthly gas records, and provide internal control reviews for SOX compliance.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications Required Education, Experience, LicensureBachelor''s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business field.More than five (5) years of Oil & Gas experience. At least five (5) years of supervisor or management experience. More than seven (7) years of financial, production planning, analysis, regulatory, and/or accounting experienceExperience working closely with multiple technical disciplines.Preferred Education, Experience, LicensureProduction or reservoir well analysis experience.IT experience related to data and process mapping, system of record or enterprise data warehouse methodology and structure, data quality best practices and procedures, test control and implementation.Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.Experience in state of West Virginia and Ohio volumetric regulatory reporting. Required Core Competencies - Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrate a strong understanding of the relationships between revenue, cost, profitability and profit maximization as well as risk.Knowledge of additional Oil & Gas applications, roles, and data structures, in particular Wellview, FlowCal or Gas Audit Measurement, and SCADA.Strong Functional knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), particularly in regard to the Procount database tables and applying formula creation and maintenance.Knowledge of oilfield equipment, processes and terminology.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with high proficiency in Excel.Able to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.Good presentation skills and verbal and written communication skills.Good collaborative and interpersonal skills.Good time management and organizational skills to meet set deadlines.Strong project management skillsGood attention to detail, problem solving, and follow up skills.Able to interpret, analyze transactional data and compile reports.Able to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities, tasks, and deadlines.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, and foster and encourage teamwork.Good analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to make accurate calculations and summarize data.Ability to take initiative and coordinate projects.Ability to implement continuous improvement methods and processes.Able to resolve miscommunication or conflict, handle feedback, and integrate ideas across different departments.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role will have managerial responsibilities over the Production Analysts and Technicians in the department.Responsible for regularly making decisions and/or recommendations concerning: Interviewing, hiring, and training; Setting or adjusting work hours;Plan, appoint, and direct the work; Appraise productivity and efficiency; Recommend advancement, promotions, or other changes in status; Handle complaints, grievances and disciplinary issues.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
