That''s why we reward top-tier work by promoting from within.We emphasize an inclusive, transparent work environment with collaboration and work/life balance at the forefront.Job DetailsOversees a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, surveyors, environmental consultants, and contractors, in the design, construction, and turnover of site terfaces with City Agencies to expedite review and permitting of construction documents, specs and site management plans. Obtains required construction permits and/or plan approvals from relevant jurisdictions.Manages construction activities, including monitoring of budgets and schedules, coordination of weekly OAC meetings, RFIs and submittalsEnsures compliance with company policies, EIR mitigation measures, development agreement obligations, and environmental regulations. Coordinates field monitoring, testing and inspections, and perform data review and quality control of monitoring transmittals.Reviews and verifies consultant invoices, contractor pay applications, and change order requests.Works with Lead Construction Administrator and Estimator to provide updates to cost/budget controls, project schedules, cash flow projections, and monthly financial reports.Assists with Requests for Proposal for design and construction services; assists with negotiation and award contracts for consultant services and construction contractors.Oversees all aspects of utility service applications, including domestic water, reclaimed water, fire water, temporary and permanent power, gas, telephone/cable, anizes and performs punch list operations and other quality control reviewsPerforms other duties as required.Must HavesUndergraduate Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.5+ years of relevant work experience in development, construction, or design project management.Knowledge of legal issues, construction contract issues, general conditions, and safety standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Excel.Self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills who pays close attention to detail and who has the ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.Collaborative approach and ability to work constructively with multidisciplinary team in development, design and construction to achieve the best business outcomes.Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.Whatever it takes approach!Ability to occasionally travel, as needed.Nice to HavesPost-graduate degree in construction management a plus.Budgeting, scheduling, engineering design, and permitting/public agency experience preferred.Experience acting in the capacity as an owner''s representative a preferred.Experience with urban, vertically-integrated mixed-use development projects terested in hearing more?
