Commercial Construction Superintendent

motivated construction superintendents skilled in commercial improvements, capital improvement projects, and other comprehensive renovation projects in both the federal marketplace and the private sector. We are currently seeking exceptional team members in the Washington DC market. Must have the skill sets, overall knowledge, and experience to effectively manage field operations, ensuring work is performed on-time; always mindful that safety is paramount; and to the highest levels of quality and workmanship. Qualified candidates will be expected to: ensure all work is in accordance with the project drawings and specifications direct the work flow consistent with the project schedule communicate project priorities to subcontractors and vendors be a team player, capable of communicating effectively with office management staff and project team provide and maintain daily reports and site documentation maintain as-builts throughout the construction cycle manage the company''s on-site safety program effectively and thoroughly create on-going pre-punch list items skillful in timely and completion of the official punch list maintain a good working relationship with clients/customers, architects, subcontractors, and other project team members have a successful, verifiable history of exemplary performance on projects with high end finishes comfortable and capable using basic computer applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel, and Procore for daily and other jobsite reports Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of supervising construction projects, with experience at the general contractor level; Experience in government contracting a plus; Current in safety credentials (OSHA 30) and CQM certification or capable of attaining credentials within 6 months of employment; US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required
