JOB DESCRIPTION Title:"¯Assembly Secondary Operator Position: Full-Time l Non-Exempt Location:"¯Ansonia, CT Manager: Operations Manager Reports to: Operator Lead SUMMARY OF ROLE Primarily operate machines that perform secondary type of operations and provide support to Cleanroom Assembly area by performing the manufacturing, packaging and labeling processes used in the assembly of Clean Room and other product lines to ensure products are shipped on time and to our customer''s requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follows plan daily work schedule. Works with other assembly team members to correctly identify, package and assemble product. Performs line clearance activities. Sort, cut and pack parts per customer specifications. Inspect parts as needed. Correctly fills out required paperwork. Participate in operator rotation for machines. Serve as support to cell operator as needed on product pick-up and disposition of lots of product from and to various areas within the production areas. Maintain quality of parts being produced. Operate heat-sealing, welding, and test equipment. Including de-gating and assembly fixtures. Operates injection molding machines, trims, and visually inspects parts using a microscope and performs. Train new assemblers in specific job assemblies by Operators Lead instruction Follows Clean Room protocol duties assigned by Clean Room Assembly Lead. Understand and follow safe handling procedures for all products within the cleanrooms and production areas. Reporting any production or quality irregularities along with any mechanical issues to Operations Lead and Operations Manager. Work closely with Group Leaders, Cell Operators, Quality Department staff to communicate issues as needed. Comply with all ISO and regulatory procedures and policies. Comply with all Safety and Company procedures and policies. Other duties as assigned. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs production activities both independently and within a team environment. Safely and efficiently produces products that are assembled to customer specifications. Follows the schedule and works to established production standards to insure on-time deliveries to our customers. Follows procedures and work instructions to ensure the integrity and quality of our customer''s product is not compromised. Maintain process documentation for clean room operation. Actively promote and drive a culture of safety. QUALIFICATIONS High school Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Experience with manufacturing of medical devices. Ability to grasp and manipulate small plastic parts. Basic computer skills.
