We are currently seeking a HR Generalist with the below qualifications: Professional Attributes Ability to work independently as well as on a teamWorks directly with and reports to the Director of Human Resources regarding all HR endeavorsAssists with all recruiting initiatives, track and update applicants in ADP and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting processParticipates in the on-boarding of employees, including proper documentation, electronic files and conduct New Hire Orientation regarding Polices/Procedures and BenefitsConduct New Hire Orientation for temporary employees who convert to permanent employeesCompletes and verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files through ADPPartners with Payroll to ensure payroll processes are correctSends Timekeeping Records and Total Hours Report to Staffing Agencies on a weekly basisPrepares, maintains and creates reports as neededMaintains employee files and electronic files with ADP. Responsible for updating files when necessary and training employees to use ADP self-portal Files documents into appropriate employee filesPartners with Corporate HR in educating employees and ensuring compliance with all polices, company processes, HR objectives, and state/federal employment laws Assists with processing and managing of worker''s compensation claimsMaintains the site schedule for employee Training & Development (TD) Programs and ensure employees participate in the T&D ProgramsReviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, management training, new hiring training, aptitude exams and certificatesPartners with Corporate HR on leave of absence and health issues, grievance matters, organizational change and notificationsCreate and distribute internal announcements regarding new hires, status changes, and terminations Assists or prepares correspondence letters or emails as requestedConducts audits of payroll, benefits, attendance or other HR programs and recommends corrective actionActs as a point of contact for employees and provides support regarding benefits, 401(k), payroll, time and attendance, time off and performance appraisalsSubmits investigations intake complaint form to the Employee Relations Manager. Provides prompt and appropriate guidance to employees regarding the complaint processAttends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and at times investigationsProcess termination paperwork and final check requestsConducts exit interview for employees who voluntarily resignPartners with Operations to ensure safety regulations are being followedAnswer employee questions and referring employees to contact the ADP My Life Advisor lineAct as site visitor reception handling infectious disease protocols, screening and documentation filingServe as liaison to local employment services, collegiate relations, Continuous Solutions Group (NI)Maintain on-site employee uniform inventory and lead employee yearly uniform ordering Other duties as assignedDesired Skills and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.
