Beacon is looking for a top-notch senior-level Regional Human Resources Manager to join our team of dedicated and passionate employees in our North Central Region. This position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources of the North Division. Location flexible in the North Central geography preferred. Position Description: We are currently seeking a senior level Human Resources Manager to support the North Division, North Central Region. The position is responsible for approximately 400 employees located in 20 branches, divided into two Districts across the North Central. The territory includes Indiana, Chicago, and Wisconsin and will report directly to the North Division Vice President, Human Resources. Detailed Responsibilities: Managing Human Resources Operations for exempt and non-exempt teams in a union and non-union environment Partnering with the Recruiting team; includes interview content/value identification and candidate selection in a timely and effective manner Investigate employee issues and conflicts Ensure organization''s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Support, guide, and train managers to help them maintain effective working relationships with unions Actively manage organizational talent, workforce planning processes, and succession planning Participate in organization-wide HR initiatives including leadership and employer of choice efforts Create and implement a positive employee relations program at all locations Demonstrated ability to lead Engagement and Retention initiatives Effectively manage communication plans and HR strategy for annual HR processes (e.g. Performance Management, Salary Planning, Talent Reviews) Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation, employee and labor relations guidance, and day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) Manage leave of absence process and transitional duty process Facilitate resolution of payroll and timekeeping administration issues Provide guidance and compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers Partner with Regional Safety Managers to ensure the effectiveness of company safety programs and initiatives Develop HR strategies and administer HR policies and procedures Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory Other duties as assigned The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A minimum of 8 years of full-scope human resources management experience is required, with related industry experience preferred Prior work experience with a Fortune 500 company that is well known for HR practices, preferred Bachelor''s degree in Business, Finance or Human Resources or related field preferred Demonstrated leadership skills and process orientation Strong business acumen and analytical mindset with the ability to lead, implement, and facilitate change. Strong employee relations background required, with relatable labor relations experience preferred Strong project management skills Experience working in changing environments, managing through complexity, and driving change Strong influencing and coaching skills. Proven experience in developing and coaching a team Ability to be effective in a highly matrixed environment Experience communicating with and influencing all levels of the organization Demonstrated successful experience in working in a demanding, high-performance work environment and team-oriented culture Must be able to think and act strategically, but also be willing to "roll-up sleeves'' for all HR functions Willing to travel up to 25% Location: Location flexible in the North Central geography preferred.
