Job Summary: We welcome you to join the Nursing department as a Clinical Coordinator - I. You will oversee the day to day operations of one or more ambulatory clinics. The clinical coordinator is a working clinic nurse with administrative duties to support practice sites. They perform administrative duties such as coordinating care teams for patients, and acting as a liaison between patients, patient families, and healthcare providers. They also support site manager with daily staffing, training of clinical staff, and developing/implementing clinic policies and protocols. The clinical coordinator manages clinical staff, interact with different departments, and makes sure there is adequate patient care amongst other duties that they perform. Overall, the clinical coordinator is to ensure professional nursing (clinical) care for patients and their families by providing leadership, supervision, and example. Associate must work in a positive and respectful manner with fellow associates and patients. The clinical coordinator is the administrative support for the facility when the manager is not at clinic site. Minimum Requirements: Vocational / Technical Graduation from an accredited LPN program. Minimum Previous Healthcare Experience Minimum Other: 1 year leadership experience Preferred EMR experience (Minimum proficiency) Healthcare Provider CPR - (American Heart Association ONLY) Minimum Upon Hire Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact Minimum Upon Hire Key Responsibilities: Adheres to and/or maintains departmental policies and procedures, to be regulatory compliant with TJC, OSHA, safety standards, or other regulatory agencies. Demonstrates flexibility required to meet changing priorities. Maintains respectful working relationships with co-workers and encourages the team approach. Approaches work in a manner that makes quality improvement a part of every activity. Organize and oversee patient care to make sure patient needs are met and OHPI/Olathe Health patient care policies are followed Supervise clinical staff to ensure compliance with official standards/guidelines for nursing care and in alignment with established budget parameters Submitting work orders and scheduling repairs for general office space and medical equipment. Make sure equipment and supplies employed for the successful operation of the clinic(s) are well placed and functioning.
