A substantial amount of the Consulting Manager''s work will relate to the financial and economic modeling, accounting, and tax structuring for complex investment transactions in renewable energy projects, including the nuances of various federal and state tax incentives.The Consulting Manager reports directly to the Sr. Managers and Partners of the firm. Our Consulting Managers oversee, mentor, and develop staff, and will be the primary lead on client engagements assigned. Your focus will initially be on the following 7 areas: Tax, financial accounting, and economic modeling of Renewable Energy transactions Financial model innovation and development of new features Task management Engagement management Staff supervision, training and development Personal and professional development Business developmentConsulting Managers drive client engagements, review and prepare financial models, and demonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client service and our work product. At this level, managers effectively analyze client transactions, recognizing and resolving potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consulting. They accept responsibility for their work and utilize firm resources to complete tasks assigned.Finally. the Consulting Manager is also expected to develop an understanding of all tax, audit and consulting services provided by the firm and apply this knowledge to identify potential new opportunities with existing clients.General job functions include: Tax, Financial, and economic modeling of renewable energy transactions Analysis of partnership contractual agreements Analysis of partnership tax constructs Technical tax and financial accounting advisory services Due diligence on solar and wind project investments Staff supervision, training and development Incubate and present new ideas for modeling techniques, products and services Communication and presentation of results to executive-level management Essential Experience (special skills and experience, licenses, certifications, and education) BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or economics 3+ years of experience in project finance modeling 4+ years of experience working within either finance and/or accounting industries 3+ years of experience with partnership tax concepts Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and VBA Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships Demonstrated analytical skills with a strong preference for providing financial analysis support in a consulting environment Strong communication skills, with the proven ability to coherently express complex concepts, both orally and in writing Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task Deadline driven, high degree of energy and enthusiasm Willingness to make the effort to learn conceptsLearn more with us"¯ CohnReznick is an organization committed to diversity and inclusion to drive our business results and create a better future every day for our diverse employees, clients, partners, and communities.
