The experience we would expect the ideal person to deliver is: Summary of Role: SunPower is seeking an experienced individual to lead its portfolio and asset management activities. This role will serve as SunPower''s CEO to its SunStrong joint venture and will set and execute the strategy for the company in conjunction with its partner. This will include pursuing acquisition opportunities, capital restructuring, and growth areas. The role will also include the oversight of the asset management team that facilitates all funding for SunPower''s residential and light commercial business. This person will work closely with the Managing Director of Capital markets to execute on financing/refinancing opportunities within portfolio companies. This person will also directly manage the accounting and tax personnel that provide services to the off-balance sheet companies and financing vehicles. This role will collaborate with many internal groups including the general residential business, internal and external legal teams, tax, accounting, treasury and others. This person will coordinate with the financial planning team to ensure that all financing activities are appropriately planned. This position will report to the Treasurer and VP, Structured Finance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Propose, receive approval for, and execute strategy for SunPower''s SunStrong entity and other portfolio investments. Set a framework or and pursue acquisition opportunities for SunStrong. Coordinate with Business and Corporate Development team to align with SunPower strategic aims Oversee the asset management activities for the various financing structures for the residential and light commercial business Coordinate with the structured finance team to execute refinancing opportunities Optimize returns from SunStrong and other equity positions Pursue additional sources of value creation for portfolio companies and customer base Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in finance, business, economics or related area of study 15+ years experience in asset management or transaction-oriented positions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid understanding of tax equity structures, market, and implications on capital structures. Essential Qualifications: Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and lead a team in a fast-moving environment Team player who can collaborate in developing strategies and provide forward-thinking solutions Experience presenting to and working with senior leadership and influencing decision-making.
