Epic Care is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to our accounting and finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will have supervisory oversight of the Junior Financial Analyst and all work produced. The SFA will be responsible for effectively working with leaders and department team members to conduct high-level analysis of the financial components within Epic Care, develop analytical modeling tools, create monthly, quarterly and annually financial reports as well as communicate results to leadership on findings.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Analysis and evaluation of the financial and operational performance of all entitiesDevelopment of the Annual Operating and Capital Budgets for the CorporationDevelopment of the Annual Operating and Capital Budgets for all Service Lines and SitesProvides support to Leadership and Management team in interpreting and understanding budgets and budget variancesProvides support to Leadership, Service Line, Site Managers and Physicians in interpreting and understanding monthly financial reportsProvides support to POD leaders to interpret and understand monthly financial reportsCreates a monthly physician dashboard with key statistical and economic information as determined by the Leadership and Management TeamPrepares quarterly the physician compensation and bonus reports as determined by the CFO and Physician Leadership TeamReviews with the CFO and Physician Leadership the algorithms used to allocate direct and overhead expenses to Service Line, Site and Physician P&LsAssist the Business Development Department, as needed, regarding M&A and other healthcare acquisition analysisAnalyze monthly the Medical Oncology Pharmacy Operation as directed by the Medical Oncology Medical DirectorPrepare monthly analysis of IV and Oral spend with Vendor, compared to contract prices and market pricesPrepare monthly analysis calculating rebates due against rebates paid and highlight areas for rebate improvementAnalyze and recommend budget gap closure options as directed by the CFO and LeadershipPrepare forecasts monthly showing economic performance compared against budget and prior yearPrepare free cash reports and forecasts identifying gapsAnalyze revenue generation and make recommendations on how to improve and maximizeAnnually, prior to budget development, generate comparisons of metrics to a normative data base, i.e., MGMA and recommend areas of opportunityEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor''s Degree or equivalent experience - Required5+ Financial, Operation and Business Analysis, Computer Modeling - Required3+ years HealthCare Budget, Financial Analysis and Computer Modeling - Highly preferredA strong applicant must be computer savvy, able to multitask, work well under pressure, and have excellent communication skills.
