This role is on a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.Client DetailsWell known consumer goods business based in Northern Brooklyn.DescriptionKey Responsibilities; Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresPerform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables dataPrepare bills, invoices and bank depositsReconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly postedVerify discrepancies by and resolve client''s billing issuesFacilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clientsGenerate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable statusProfileQualifications;Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelProven working experience as accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager or accountantSolid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulationsProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (JDE or other full-scale ER software)High degree of accuracy and attention to detailJob OfferA competitive salary and benefits package, generous PTO, annual salary increase and room for growth.
