We offer a collaborative and flexible work environment, competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and a generous PTO policy.POSITION SUMMARY:The primary duty of the ACAT Specialist is to review and process transfer related requests including but not limited to ACAT, Non-ACAT, and Direct Mutual Fund transfers. This individual is responsible for delivering a high level of support in a high-risk environment which is also fast paced with frequently changing priorities.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Review, process, validate, and track incoming and outgoing ACATS, which includes fails, reversals, reclaims Analyze current procedures and offer improvement suggestions to increase workflow accuracy and efficiency Participate in internal and external audits Work with Sales and Client Services to best service client''s transferring accounts to and from TradeStation Securities Communicate with Contra brokers, Banks and Mutual Companies to expedite outstanding account transfer requests Maintain detailed records and retention of all ACATS activities Responsible for multiple ACATs functions for business continuity during disaster recovery situations Ability to travel for disaster recovery, training and other business purposesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be able to prioritize workload to ensure multiple deadlines are met Detail oriented Able to meet commitments in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible. In depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines, internal firm policies, and Compliance/AML requirements and how they pertain to processingEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: College degree preferred 1+ years of experience in self-clearing brokerage operations, preferably processing ACAT transfer receives and delivers Familiar with industry standard systems such as DTC, NSCC, and Fund/SERV Knowledge of SunGard Phase 3 back office also a plus
