DescriptionAssists in and independently runs RFPs and RFIs and develops consolidated overview of the supplier proposals, assists with scoring supplier responses, and performs calculations on supplier cost and total cost of ownership (TCO) model. Actively seeks ways to streamline business processes; researches and provides information on industry category trends and best practices. Provide procurement input to maximize procurement leverage, optimize project design and minimize project duration and cost. Collect and analyze data on internal factors such as spend, internal business partner requirements, as well as external factors such as contract compliance, supplier performance, industry and market dynamics, and products/services trends Support business case development including detailed costs and benefits along with associated risks and risk mitigation plans Provides strategic inputs in development of category specific strategies Provides analytical support during the supplier screening and selection process Clearly, concisely, and visually summarize and interpret large volumes of data into reports for key stakeholders Prepare fact-based negotiation package which supports the indirect procurement team in the negotiation process Supports identification of opportunities and actions for continuous improvement by means of analysis of supplier performance and internal KPI data Collect data and perform data analysis to support validation of potential opportunity value ProfileIn return for a competitive compensation package, the ideal candidate will possess the following: 3+ years of experience Strong analytical skills Experience with contracting Strong negotiation skills Experience with process mapping, pricing models, causes of importance, and identification of risk Experience running RFPs and RFQs Able to thrive in a hybrid/remote working model Articulate and concise communication - both written and verbal communication Ability to work well both independently and with a team Impeccable attention to detailJob OfferTarget compensation for the Strategic Sourcing Specialist is $80,000 - $110,000 + bonus commensurate with experienceImmense growth potential, 401 K match benefits, generous PTO package, Hybrid Working Model, etc.
