Job Description JOB SUMMARY It''s an exciting time to join the PODS Brand team - we are growing! And as we grow, we are laser focused on taking content marketing to the next level. As we increase our focus on content, we need a content leader to drive strategy and execution. We are looking for a teammate with a content marketing background who has analytical chops - able to monitor and report on content performance. You will oversee a team responsible for blog and web content. And build a discipline to support content distribution across other channels. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the development and execution of the content marketing strategy Drives the ideation and execution of content marketing initiatives that are on-strategy and on-brand Develops content marketing reporting dashboard, providing weekly reports to leadership and proactively adjusting content production based on trends Manages the internal and external content execution teams, and coordinates with in-house and agency creative teams Builds and manages content marketing budget, and reports out monthly to Brand Director Develops presentations in PowerPoint for regular leadership updates Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including: SEO lead, social lead, brand lead, email lead, and web team to inform content production and share out content pipeline Uses consumer insights, segmentation and other survey data to best translate positioning and value propositions into targeted and thoughtful customer and prospect content May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES Typically reports to Management. Able to operate general office equipment including company telephone system JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements BA/BS or its equivalent is required; degree in English, Journalism, Communications or Marketing is preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area, with 3 years in senior content manager role High level of proficiency in copywriting and proofreading Proficient in GA and content performance reporting (specifically for blog and web) Experience in building and managing a team preferred Ability to manage significant workloads and shifting priorities Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects at time Must be passionate about creating a positive customer experience
