Cloud Security Engineer

ECS is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to work in our Morrisville, NC or Washington, DC office. Job Description:Serving as a Subject Matter Expert in the configuration and operation of the security consoles and controls within environmentWorking with multiple teams to establish multiple integrations with the cloud application security brokerProviding analysis of outputs and recommendations for improving overall security postureParticipating in architecting and engineering security solutions involving cloud native and hybrid environmentsDeveloping technical documentation and briefing material supporting architecture discussions and leadership decision making processes Required Skills:BS/BA degree Eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearanceAbility to implement security controls to comply with industry best practices and various regulatory controlsConduct initial triage assessments of findings from audit or testingExperience with Azure Security Center or Google Cloud Security Command CenterExperience with a cloud application security broker and integration to multiple servicesAbility to review, produce and make recommendations to improve the security postureEngage with other internal and external groups to get and share information to improve processes and security postureDesired Skills:Experience automating process using PowerShell or Python, including use of remote APIsExperience deploying physical, virtual and cloud hosted enterprise applications on MS Windows and/or Linux OSProject planning experienceExcellent writing skillsMicrosoft office suite of applicationsExperience implementing controls supporting Zero Trust methodologyECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
