Microbiologist Technician

Element has an opportunity for a Microbiology Lab Technician whose primary responsibility is to support laboratory operations by conducting the relevant laboratory requirements in support of our Life Sciences busines sector.Element''s Life Sciences group supports developers and manufacturers in the antimicrobial, food and nutraceutical, medical device, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. We provide personalized testing solutions and regulatory consulting support to validate the safety and efficacy of our clients'' products at every stage of development, production and market release. Responsibilities Maintain the good laboratory housekeeping and ensure Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standard are adheredProvide essential microbiological analytical laboratory support for food and beverage manufacturers, private sectors, commodity exporters companies and food industry in line with Element''s standardsMaintain accurate records of all performed procedures in assisting in implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 in the laboratoryAssist in performing some analytical testing for the samples, recording and updating of results in LIMS.
