Critical to establishing and maintaining work standards, you will set the framework of our dedicated onsite service team to consistently exceed established goals, demonstrate a commitment to customers and a dedication to excellence and innovation. Work will be done from both an office setting as well as on distribution/manufacturing floors, depending upon business needs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: DEVELOP CREATE AND UPDATE WORK STANDARDS Conducts observation and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine time-and-motion requirements of job duties. Establishes production standards corporate-wide using a combination of Time and Motion studies as well as MTM/MSD. Prepare backup documentation on how standards were derived for future updates and analysis utilizing company Job Specification Sheets (JSS). Develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data Ensures standard operating procedures (SOP''s) are kept up to date and each work cell is following them accordingly, through routine audits. Assist in standardizing all processes throughout the organization and implement "best practices" whenever applicable DATA ANALYSIS Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing wasted motions or steps within a given work cell to include restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, or work cell set-up. Applies principles of industrial engineering to evaluate work methods proposals and to develop recommendations to management affecting work methods, wage rates, and budget decisions Assist in strategic planning to improve the long-term profitability of the company Creation of decision tools and optimizing models for staffing or utilization Assist corporate finance and accounting in preparing and maintaining cost accounting reporting Work with the IE Department to enhance or develop reports that will enable management to better measure productivity and cost within our proprietary system Assist in tactical operations planning and assist in management implementing plans wherever feasible Work closely with the Implementation Department during new account start-ups to ensure methods and processes are set up and executed as assessed EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Must have a degree from an accredited Engineering Program Experience with SQL queries and statements required Heavy use of Microsoft Excel, with some form of VBA experience CAD software experience preferred MS Access experience preferred Microsoft Office Suite TRAVEL Will travel approximately 50% - 80% of the time to SIMOS markets around the United States based on business needs.
