Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the CQO will enhance quality of care for the 45,000 people served annually by The Jewish Board, and will have direct access to the CEO and the Board of Trustees, as appropriate. The CQO will oversee the Quality Improvement Department. The CQO will be a member of the organization''s Senior Management team. They will be responsible for: Oversee key quality management and improvement functions such as continuous quality improvement, designing/implementing performance standards, and outcomes measurement consistent with industry best practices, Jewish Board mission/values, accrediting bodies, payers, and Federal/State/local regulatory requirements. Jewish Board regulators include, but are not limited to, OMH, OPWDD, OCFS, and Medicaid/ collaboration with the Chief Clinical Officer and other program leadership, develop quality of care standards. Also, the CQO identifies opportunities for continuous quality improvement and change management related to these standards.Develop and champion, in collaboration with other agency leadership, a culture of continuous quality improvement, change management, and the use of evidence-based models of care across the agency.Establish strategic direction of the Quality-related functions.Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry best practices, implementing changes as neededQUALIFICATIONSThe Jewish Board is currently looking for talented professionals of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:Advanced degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar demonstration of experience, skill, and training.Minimum of five years of experience leading a quality improvement /assurance function, at a healthcare or health-focused organization. Preferred candidates have experience with outcomes measurement and/or management in an environment utilizing evidence-based treatments.Experience in performing and managing Continuous Quality Improvement activities in one or more service areas relevant to The Jewish Board.Experience with formal project management, six sigma, and lean start-up methodologies is critical.Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite.
