Job Description:Responsible for moderately complex financial activities involving the implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a line of business or staff area. Works on activities and projects with others with the business unit. May lead small projects and coordinate resources. In some cases, will act as team leader.Performing accounting duties and financial analysis of data for the Investor Accounting group in Mortgage Operations.Directing the day-to-day activities and processes including managing service level agreements, fluctuations in volume and fluctuations in staffing.Handling the implementation of new and revised systems, procedures and methods that apply to and improve the prospective units function(s)Monitoring associate productivity and quality, to ensure sufficient development and training of associatesDeveloping and implementing policies and procedures which support organization short-and long-term business plans and minimizes losses associated with inadequate information systems, operational problems, breach of internal controls, and fraudEnsuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulationsCommunicating and interfacing cross-functionally with senior leadershipPlanning and understanding macro management and cross-functional organizationWorking with Unit Leader on strategies and processesPerforming related tasks as requiredRequired Skills / Experience:Accounting or financial analysis experience requiredStrong Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, reportingAbility to interpret and understand implications of dataAbility to communicate findings and potential impacts to leadership teamDesired Skills / Experience:Investor accounting experienceJob Band:H5Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40Weekly Schedule:M-F 8am-5pmReferral Bonus Amount:0 --> Job Description:Responsible for moderately complex financial activities involving the implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a line of business or staff area.
