Lead Data Engineer - Remote My client is a leading research and analytics company who partner with Microsoft to deliver in-depth insights for customers in the retail, ecommerce and gaming industries, and are hiring a Lead Data Engineer to join their established yet growing data team. This is an exciting to work with cutting edge Azure technologies with clients in the gaming and retail space. You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative tools and applications for video game industry clients. You will build dynamic and scalable ETL processes, and data pipelines in the Azure stack and manage large scale Data Warehouse initiatives. To be considered for this role you will have a solid hands on background with SQL Server and SSIS, building scalable ETL systems and data pipeline optimization. You will be skilled with Cloud Computing platforms, particularly Azure Cloud however AWS/GCP is fine. Extensive background in database design, architecture and build specifically with Big Data platforms. Exposure to the wider Azure tack including Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks and Azure SQL and ML/AI experience will be of high interest.
