Information Security Specialist - Senior

We are seeking an Information Security Specialist - Senior at Fort Benning, GA. Position: Information Security Specialist - Senior Location: Fort Benning, GA. Security Clearance: Secret (Active/Inactive) Job Description The Information Security Specialist will support and provide comprehensive, integrated, end-to-end IT services that includes preparing information system security documentation and maintaining user security status and education. Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government security clearance to be retained in the position. Duties and Responsibilities Provide cybersecurity functional support for assessments, authorizations, and documentation of enterprise fielded systems. Uses current information security technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets in accordance with established standards and procedures. Develops and maintains knowledge base on changing regulatory, threat, and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards and ensure compliance throughout the organization. Utilizes Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to record Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities. Responsible for ensuring information systems are configured IAW DISA STIGs, applicable patches, and other cybersecurity requirements. Prepares information reports. Supervises team of multi-disciplined professionals; provides advanced expertise and proven experience in at least two of the IT help desk, network and system operations and support, radio communications, antenna/tower communications, telecommunications. Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and team skills. Excellent leadership and management skills. Skill & Certification Requirements Security+ CISSP-FICSP-GIAC, or PMP-Project+ IAW DISA STIGS Risk Management Framework (RMF) Position requires sitting, for long periods of time.
