Who We Are: Kalorik is a leading kitchen and small home appliance company with over 90 years in business and innovations based in Miami, FL. What You Will Do: Kalorik is seeking a detail oriented individual to to provide import support to the Company with the movement of goods between the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Latin America and China. The main responsibility is to provide all import admin support while working with the Import and Merchandising Team to ensure shipments move through complicated global supply chains while meeting all deadlines for receipt of products and maintaining costs. A candidate for this role should be confident in their ability to: Work interdepartmentally with those here in Miami, as well as in the China office. Manage, maintain, and organize multiple priorities. Meet deadlines, follow up continuously, and shine administratively. Duties & Responsibilities Will Include: Assist with Kalorik import/export process and ensures compliance with U.S. and foreign government laws and regulations. Ensure that all suppliers have signed the supplier agreement. Assist in the tracking of all paperwork from suppliers; signed and returned POs, purchasing agreements, PIs Track freight movement and communicate any delays to the Import Operations Manager. Keep spreadsheet of supplier payments and deposits with dates for payments. Send proof of payments to suppliers. Close out containers for stock & Customer items once received and verified by the warehouse in the Great Plains program. Enter measurements of new stock items in Great Plains once received. Track and enter any additional charges incurred once container received at warehouse. Assure empty containers are returned back to port in a timely manner. Participate in meetings regarding audits or questions about transactions when dealing with regulatory agencies such as U.S. Customs. Assist in the updating and explanation of the internal ETA/ETD spreadsheet. Contribute in converting the ETA/ETD spreadsheet into Great Plains by handling data entry, as requested. Support the Import Manager in performing audits on departmental processes. On a monthly basis, assist with Drawback Program to request duties back from U.S. Customs. Provide support during Import Managers'' busy season. Cross-train, as required, to be the back-up import contact for stock orders. Build a relationship with the Merchandising Team in China, to provide administrative assistance as needed. What We Are Looking For: 2-3 years of import experience OR 5 years of administrative work in a high-volume environment Fluency with Microsoft Office, specifically excel and outlook. Strong attention to detail, communication, ability to set and meet deadlines, and highly organized E-VERIFY: This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. CB
