Bluegrass Community HospitalESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms plan of care intervention, including medication administration effectiveness and re-assessment, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical and psycho-social care.Documents patient care given.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the pletes APEX and other applicable training within identified timeframe.NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPI: Participates in ongoing performance improvement for the unit and the organizationContinuing Education: Participates in continuing education for current clinical practice, hospital requirements and licensing requirementsPatient Care: Provides quality patient care, works other than usual shifts as needed, works other than usual areas/units as needed, if qualified for duties required. Assigned on-call when necessary.Duties: Performs other duties as assigned
