Radiological Technologist

An urgent care facility in Virginia is actively seeking a dynamic and diligent professional to join their staff as a Radiological Technologist. In this role, the Radiological Technologist supports and assists with the provision of identified clinical and laboratory services to enhance and maintain patient flow and satisfaction. Responsibilities The Radiological Technologist Accurately obtains, documents, and reports variances for: history, vital signs, EKG''s, and growth parameters for developmental stage Performs radiologic procedures and examinations under the direction of radiologists or delegating practitioner Takes appropriate action to protect patient, self and others from secondary radiation Maintains and applies knowledge of radiation protection standards Provides services using imaging modalities Evaluates radiographs for technical quality Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures Completes other tasks as assigned Qualifications Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures, as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment CPR license Strong attention to detail Patient-oriented Excellent communication skills Highly organized Desired skills 2-3 years of pediatric or general X-Ray experience
