Director of Volunteer Intake

A New York City nonprofit services organization is currently seeking a new Director of Volunteer Intake for a great opportunity with their staff. In this role, the Director of Volunteer Intake will be responsible for reviewing files and making an appropriate disposition for joining the program or discontinuing the file. Responsibilities: The Director of Volunteer Intake will: Assess all the organization''s volunteer applicant files for accuracy, completion, and disposition utilizing organization''s standards Complete Psychosocial Assessments and follow up with department staff when paperwork or signatures are missing Manage annual Program Manual review and updates Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Youth Development and/or a Mentoring related role Master''s Degree in Social Work and/or a related field Strong clinical interviewing and biopsychosocial assessment writing skills Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Volunteer and Family Intake processes Knowledge of Database Management Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Knowledge of Mentoring and/or Mentoring Program Development
