(US) - Business Analyst (IT) Senior Lead

Modis is seeking an IT Regulatory Specialist. This role is 100% remote. The IT Regulatory Specialist will help the Associate Director of IT regulatory risk to plan, implement, and report on processes to management regulatory risk for the organization. The IT Regulatory Specialist will be assisting in managing the domestic and International regulatory environment through its lifecycle. This position is primarily responsible for reviewing and understanding new and existing regulations that have cybersecurity, privacy, or other technology implications across the globe; performing current state analysis, and identifying compliance gaps. This role will collaborate with other risk management functions with the organization such as Legal, Business regulatory risk, Technology risk, and Operational risk management. This role should be a self starter, an avid learner, and will be responsible for preparing quality materials to support the analyses performed during examinations or ad-hoc requests. Responsibilities Contributing member of the Global IT Regulatory Program (Domestic and International regulations) Drive, manage, & oversee individual requirements related to Cybersecurity & Privacy regulations (NYDFS Cybersecurity, NAIC Insurance Data Security, GDPR, CCPA, etc) Oversee both coming into compliance with the newer requirements as well as managing existing action plans and BAU processes Lead meetings to assess current compliance with regulations Identify gaps Problem solve/think out of the box to identify solutions Track and report progress/results weekly Assist team to develop scalable process Able to lead; able to impart knowledge and enable others Required Skills/Experience 7 years+ of experience within technology risk, control, compliance, audit and governance disciplines Cyber security audit experience Cyber security/information security project management NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulatory experience preferred Technology Risk & Controls Skills Expertise in regulatory assessments Understanding of IT governance, technology risk management principles and best practices Ability to oversee multiple processes, action plans and key stakeholders simultaneously Demonstrate effective leadership skills Strategic thinker Excellent problem solving and delegation skills Ability to define solutions from ambiguous scenarios Maintain excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills Active listener Ability to drive change through influence Excellent program, project and team management skills Please apply to this remote IT Regulatory Specialist Job today.
