2nd Shift Blow Mold Machinist

Title: 2nd Shift Blow Mold Machinist Summary: Provide production support by operating a Blow Mold Injection Machine and performing light repairs when needed. If you enjoy working in busy team environments, are dependable, and hold a positive attitude, this is where you begin! Hours: Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm with opportunity for OT on Saturdays Pay: $16.00/Hour Location : Kansas City, MO *Transportation arrangement available upon request* Job Responsibilities: Operate Blow Mold Injecton Machine in production line atmosphere Conduct light maintenance on machinery as needed Verify material requirements, pack out configurations, and any special requirements Keep adequate supply of packaging materials in work area Continually work toward reducing/eliminating product damage and scrap Maintain housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment where necessary Be open for reassignment in case of line shutdown or when another area needs assistance Assist in product rework as assigned Assist in giving breaks as needed Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications: Prior machine operating experience of at least 2 years is required Demonstrated mechanical abilities through prior work experience is required Knowledge of how to perform preventative and routine machinery maintenance is required Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, lift, and be on your feet for extended periods of time is required with or without reasonable accommodation(s) This position is a contract-to-hire.
