Senior Property Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking a Senior Property Accountant.Responsibilities: In this role, the Senior Property Accountant will prepare monthly financial statements, including comments and analysis; Compare budget to actual and investigate large variances Analyze retail and other commercial tenant leases and other legal documents to identify and capture items such as common area maintenance (CAM) and tax expenses, base operating year, and expense caps and exclusions, etc. Senior Property Accountant will calculate and review year end CAM expenses for tenants; Prepare reconciliation billings and schedules for tenants with timely true up of amounts due Prepare monthly journal entries while maintaining backup schedules, as necessary, for documentation of entries Maintain and review schedules for subsidiary ledgers of accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.; Reconcile accounts monthly Senior Property Accountant will maintain and review depreciation schedules; Complete input forms and ensure integrity between general ledger and fixed asset system
