Fixed Assets Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant in Princeton, NJ for a leading equipment provider company. This will be on a hybrid work schedule!Summary:The Fixed Asset Accountant will assist the Fixed Assets team with the monthly reporting of revenue and non-revenue earning equipment. In this role, the FA Accountant will review capital invoices, perform analysis related to capital expenditures, and perform system maintenance. The candidate must show a dedicated commitment to reconcile variances and meet required deadlines.Responsibilities: Fixed Asset Accountant will analyze and report monthly accounting processes: depreciation, retirements, and transfers Record related journal entries Prepare all required reporting Reconcile all related accounts As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will participate in the Monthly, Quarterly and Year-end book close processes Perform required system maintenance Oversee the FA to GL reconciliation related to non-revenue earning equipment, which involves identifying all issues and making necessary adjustments Fixed Asset Accountants coordinate the consolidated FA roll forward process, ensuring accuracy of the FA system Assist with internal and external audits
