Senior Accountant - Startup, Life Science

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce''s client, a very prominent and publicly traded biotechnology company in NYC, is seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a company with a deep product pipeline and fantastic mission. There is also an opportunity to create wealth here. Comp is very generous and top decile, and includes equity in an early stage, ''startup type'' company (despite being publicly traded). The 2 mentors here are fantastic.Duties will include: Month end and annuals closes Journal entries Senior Accountant will review general ledger Balance sheet reconciliations As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare financial statements and reporting packages Account analysis Internal controls Some basic FP&A functions like reporting, budgets, and forecasts US GAAP compliance Audit support They will teach you SEC reporting and SOX controls even if you have never done these things in your career to date.
