Brazilian Professionals is seeking an experienced, high-energy, organized person who is searching for a long-term opportunity, as a Buyer. We prefer a Personal Care industry person with a bottle, jar, tube, sprayer, cap, and other packaging buying experience. Packaging Quality Control experience is a huge plus! The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Required Education, Skills, and Progressive Experience: Associate''s degree 5 years: Purchasing 1-2 years: Demand Planning, Inventory Control, Quality Control 2-5 years: Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) 2-5 years: ERP Software ( Epicor a Huge plus!) Math: Use basic math to analyze data and prices Research: Search and gather information Analyze: Review reports to plan, schedule, deliver orders Decision: Learn Products and make quick decisions Negotiate: Persuade Suppliers for the best cost, quality, delivery options Communication: Engage with Suppliers/Employees to meet our goals Competencies: ● Technical and Computer savvy, understands MRP ● Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic ● Requires minimal supervision and direction ● Excellent organization, prioritization, time management skills ● Excellent negotiating and persuading skills ● Detail and accuracy oriented ● High energy, remains calm under pressure ● Proven verbal and written communication skills ● Comfortable speaking to Suppliers and meeting commitments ● Comfortable speaking to Management and responding to requests ● Timely follow-up to e-mails and phone calls ● Anticipate needs of Marketing and Internal Departments Who We Are: Brazilian Professionals is the exclusive distributor of the original Brazilian Blowout, b3 Brazilian Bond Builder, and b3 Demi Permanent Conditioner.
