EHS Manager

Our client is an innovative designer and manufacturer of polyurethane polymers and compounded finishing materials. They are growing and need an energetic EH&S Manager Responsibilities ● Ensure compliance with all federal, state & local safety and environmental regulations. ● Drive continuous improvement of all environmental, safety and health initiatives including management, supervision and operator training ● Manage all safety initiatives, including Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Line Breaking, Hot Work Permit, Safe Work Permit, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, Personnel Protective Equipment, Contractor Safety, Safety Eyewash/Showers, Asbestos Insulation, Incident Investigations, Safety Committee, Emergency Planning & Response, Hazard Communication, MSDS/SDS, Global Harmonization, Flammable Storage Permits, Fire Suppression Systems, First Aid, Homeland security, Chemical Hygiene. ● Manage all environmental initiatives, including Air Source Registration, Toxic Use Reduction Plan, Wastewater Discharge Permits & Sampling, Massachusetts Contingency Plan, Tier II Report, Spill Response Plan, Hazardous/Non-Hazardous/Universal Waste, and Hazwoper. ● Support Process Safety Management initiatives and participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). ● Develop and maintain written environmental, health and safety initiatives. ● Build and deliver employee training sessions.
