Purchases, stores, and/or issues tooling, industrial equipment and Maintenance parts by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES: Obtain purchase order number and assigns identifying number. Visit, telephone, or contact vendors by email/mail to order parts. Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received. Store purchased parts and issues upon request. Keep records of parts received and issued, and controls inventory of spare parts for all equipment plant wide. Set up and maintain maintenance database (BenchMate). Follow all company policies, guidelines and rules as set forth at all times. Work well with others and work in a team environment. Assist in purchasing with all departments plant-wide. Continues to expand knowledge base by participating in training classes as provided internally and externally. Work overtime, as needed. Perform all assigned tasks and duties in an efficient, timely, professional and clean manner at all times. Observe safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; use equipment and materials properly. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and HACCP Pre-requisite Programs related to activities performed for this position. Job Requirements High school Diploma or G.E.D. 7-10 Years industrial plant maintenance experience or successful completion of Technical Schools or classes supporting electrical, electronic troubleshooting and repairs advanced training levels of hydraulic function, troubleshooting, and repair. Documented demonstration of knowledge, performance and experience of the job to the satisfaction of the Maintenance Manager. Able to read, understand, follow and design schematics/prints of hydraulics and electrical systems. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
