Must be proficient in Test Stand No sponsorship allowed for this position Job Title: Software Test Engineer - onsite Work location: Grand Rapids, MI Essential Functions & Responsibilities: • Develop, design, integrate and deploy automated test equipment (ATE) solutions for manufacturing testing of Avionics products, including Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP), Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and Qualification • Lead the development of the test equipment solution through all phases of the project: Planning, Requirements, Architecture, Hardware/Software Design, Integration, Verification and Release • Influence overall test strategy for new product introductions including test data analytics, board test strategies for manufacturing, etc. • Support on-site manufacturing through test software updates, problem report resolution, diagnostics, etc. • Provide technical leadership to multi-functional teams supporting the assigned project • Participate and present or review in technical and customer reviews • Assure accurate documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures Desired Characteristics: • Strong Fluency in National Instruments LabWindows/CVI and TestStand • Fluency in VisualStudio/C • Experience with processor-based electronics hardware, especially with respect to test and diagnostics • Experience integrating new hardware design with developed software code • Ability to influence others and lead small teams • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously • Effective problem identification and solution skills Requirements/Knowledge: Education Required: College degree preferred 5 - 10 years experience Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records
