SQA Automation Developer

We are recruiting for a SQA Automation Developer. Our client has an immediate job opportunity for a SQA Automation Engineer to join their team in Rochester, NY testing software solutions to support their revolutionary products. Qualified candidates for this job opportunity will work with Development, Architects, and others in Quality Assurance to design, build, and maintain a world-class test automation framework, utilizing cutting edge test automation tools. The QA Automation Engineer will construct automated test scripts for the verification of new products and features. Candidates should have a passion for quality and for learning new technologies. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a test automation framework that will be used by agile team members to design, build, and run automated test suites against multiple application layers (UI, API, Database) Complete UI and Backend development tasks in JavaScript, utilizing Mongo DB Integrate open-source and licensed test tools such as Selenium, Appium, and TestComplete into the Automation Framework solution Perform unit-testing and integration testing of Automation Framework components Work with the Automation Framework team to define best practices in the design and development of automated scripts. Coach and mentor QA team members on published practices. Enable integration of the automated test suites within the CI/CD pipeline. Contribute to the design and maintenance of an automated test execution environment, using both physical and virtual machines and devices Automate unit and end to end test suites for existing and new product features. The technologies of the applications under test include: client-server, mobile, web, SOAP/REST services, SQL and Mongo DBs, Window/iOS/Android/Linux operating systems. Execute automated tests and report results Work with agile team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues Drive innovation and be a champion of change Other duties/projects as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Software Development, Information Systems, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience), providing solid knowledge of modern software development practices, languages and patterns.
