Controls Project Engineer | Digital Manufacturing

We are looking for an engineer with solid PLC programming experience, who enjoys travel and is passionate about new solutions for manufacturing technology. Upcoming projects include the possibility of travel to: Brazil, UK, Mexico, Thailand, Italy, India and Spain among others. As a key member of our MES/FIS team, you will work closely with our customers to understand their manufacturing and automation goals. The successful candidate will:Provide cradle-to-grave technical leadership for the design, development, testing, and implementation of MES solutionsConstruct proper PLC programs from scratch and debug/enhance programs from othersTroubleshoot extensively while working with other engineers and skilled trades in a production environmentParticipate in team/customer meetings to identify requirements, specifications, timelines and customer expectationsApply advanced technology to configure, control and monitor the manufacturing processIntegrate PLC''s, Operator Stations, DC torque tools, Bar Code Scanner, Pick-to-Light Systems and other tools into the manufacturing processCollaborate with our talented engineering team and skilled trades to integrate Process Controls; Error Proofing; Visual Control; and Operation Process in a plant environment Requirements Required Skills & Experience:BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical disciplineExperience working in a plant or manufacturing environmentCommunication network experience, SCADA experience a plusSeveral years of experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLC''sHardware design such as panel layout or industrial controls preferredExcellent communication skills both written and verbalTravel approximately 30-40% domestic and internationalWillingness to work above and beyond to meet company and customer goals
