Job Description

Within our Dynamic Test Systems division, we provide high-end, custom testing solutions to long-standing and world-leading customers across 4 continents. We have created a new role for a Facilities Engineer to help us surpass our goals and commitments to them. This is a great career move to expand your expertise and be a subject matter expert in this area for RedViking. You will leave your imprint on all elements of facilities requirements and specs that our custom machine projects require. What you will do: This is a new role that provides autonomy supporting the project team in all aspects of facilities designs, layouts and determining facility requirements based on equipment specifications. You will be the main point of contact for contractors and architecture firms during the design, planning and coordination efforts required for building new facilities and updates to existing facilities. You will work closely with our project manager and project engineers to gather critical data to develop and manage the facilities requirements document (FRD). Ongoing communication with our customers and contractors to ensure that all systems meet RedViking and industry standards. Requirements Bachelor''s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering5+ years of experience in a similar role or as an engineer for custom machinesKnowledge of building compliance codes, laws and regulationsExperience using AutoCAD required, other CAD software especially SolidWorks a plusGood understanding of electrical, mechanical and HPL engineering principles Ability to analyze data, blueprints, reports and interpret electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic designsExperience writing scope of work and cost estimatingExcellent communication skills, experience interfacing with customers and regulatory authorities as well as managing contractors and suppliers Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30%Willingness to work ''above and beyond'' to meet company goalsDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) require that applicants are legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer and do not require sponsorship for an employment visa now or in the future
