Job Description

Global chemical manufacturer is looking for an Instrument Engineer for a 6 year contract supporting several capital projects at the plant. This position is responsible for reviewing the capital projects and being the site subject matter expert familiar with the site specifications, relevant codes, accepted industry standards, recognized best practices and to assist the Project Mangers during construction. This is anticipated to be for about 6 years in duration. You would be responsible for approving instrument engineering packages, approving instrument design packages, supporting project procurement activities and project construction activities. You would also assist in maintaining accurate site records and documentation, participating in vendor/contract site visits, interfacing with engineering contractor and participating in MOC/Safety Design Review Meetings, PHA/LOPA and work with the process controls group. Coordinate with site maintenance and reliability personnel to ensure equipment selection and reliability plans and plant troubleshooting. They are very dynamic, forward thinking and collaborative.
