Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: The QA Lab Technician assists the QA Lab Manager in all operations of the quality assurance management system to ensure product produced at and shipped from AZPack meets all customer requirements and proper documentation is followed. More responsibilities may be assigned upon hire. Job Requirements: Ensuring facility programs comply with certifications including, but not limited to, OSHA, SQF, and GMP Routine cleaning and upkeep of the laboratory to maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the laboratory Monitor laboratory operations, documenting and correcting discrepancies Manage sample retention and laboratory inventory levels. To order laboratory supplies and communicate with vendors Prepare microbiological media as needed: microbiology testing of finished products, environmental tests, and powder raw materials including, but not limited to, Salmonella, E. coli, coliforms, aerobic plate count, yeast and mold; verify results of all microbiological tests and release Certificates of Analysis for all testing completed Conduct and record raw material identity test Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; review and file the quality relating documents; support the R&D team with microbiological testing Perform all other duties deemed appropriate, necessary, required, or directed by direct supervisor Additional information: Resume is required Benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance.
