Manage and coordinate research programs and support personnel Actively collaborate with internal and external researchers. Prepare project reports and presentations to present to senior leadership. Collaborate with other departments within the Organization. Responsible for department budget, resources, and expenses This position requires domestic and international travel Requirements Ph.D. in Food Science, Plant Physiology, Agronomy, or closely related field. Extensive knowledge of plant science, and postharvest physiology of fruit crops Experience with testing and evaluation of bioactive is a plus. Experience and knowledge of diverse fruit, vegetable and/or floral postharvest handling systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, SigmaPlot, Minitab, Adobe Acrobat, etc. Demonstrable Project organization and management skills, excellent interpersonal communication and people terested in hearing more?
