Competitive Salary Comprehensive Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance) 401k with a company match Advancement OpportunitiesJob DetailsThe Senior Tax Accountant performs accounting functions requiring thorough knowledge of general accounting methods, principles, and practices, and a broad understanding of the overall partnership tax compliance. The Senior Accountant trains and supports department staff and prepares accurate and timely financial reports.RESPONSIBILITIES Support Controller in managing daily accounting and back-office processes Manage annual tax compliance process including review of federal and state partnership returns Prepare quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements Manage investor portal website including financial, tax and asset updates and other ad-hoc investor requests Support annual audit process for each private equity fund and separate account Assist with property level accounting and review monthly property financial statements Assist with fund level treasury functions including capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, and bank reconciliations. Assist in managing various service providers across the platform including: third party property managers, auditors, tax consultants, and banking relationships Coordinate subscription documents of new entities and investors Perform various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned Opportunity to work directly with large institutional clients in fulfilling investor requestsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS A bachelor''s degree in Accounting or finance Certificate of Public Accounting (CPA) or progress toward license A minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with an accounting or investment firm Exposure to partnership accounting and partnership tax compliance Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel Highly organized, able to manage large amounts of written and electronic dataInterested in hearing more?
