Discover more at /about.The Executive Assistant will provide administrative assistance to the President of CIT Rail: * Maintain and manage Executive''s calendar, assist with priority of scheduling, organize events* Screen incoming calls and correspondence and respond independently when necessary* Compose and prepare confidential and time-sensitive correspondence, reports and other complex documents* Create and maintain effective filing system* Arrange complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries* Manage travel expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policy* Compile documents for travel related meetings* Prepare Executive''s expense reports; assist other team members if and as needed* Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters* Review invoices and other documents for accuracy prior to obtaining authorization signatures* Assist in the preparation of various presentations* Handle ad hoc projects, serve as backup for other executives* Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience supporting an Executive Level team member* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint* Ability to be highly organized and work independently* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment* Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Strong interpersonal skills at all levels, whether interacting internally or externally* Ability to work extended hours, as required* Travel from time to time throughout North America in support of CIT Rail business activitiesCIT is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity.
