Home Care By Callos is looking for Full Time Float Caregivers. We provide Home Health Services for Stark and Summit counties and are dedicated to serving our community. Benefits and Compensation: Pay starts at $13/hr Performance increase 30 days/ 90 days up to $14/hr Paid Training Benefits Cell phone stipend pay monthly Do not treat Covid patients Responsibilities: Follows care plan to provide safe, competent care to the client. Helps the patient to maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthful, safe environment Plans and prepares nutritious meals, markets when instructed to do so by staff nurse/ clinical director Assists any therapy personnel as needed Encourages the patient to become as independent as possible according to the nursing care plan Attempts to promote the patient''s mental alertness through involvement in activities of interest Gives simple emotional and psychological support to the patient and other members of the house and establishes a relationship with the patient and family which transmits trust and confidentiality Reports any change in patient''s mental or physical condition or in the home situation to the staff nurse/ clinical director Preforms routine housekeeping to provide a safe and comfortable living environment Prepares visit reports promptly and accurately This position requires a valid driver''s license and car insurance Qualifications: 1 year of RN supervised experience or A current equivalent certificate (HHA, STNA, etc.) Physical ability to perform all home care tasks Ability to communicate clearly to both the patient and staff Come join our rapidly growing team with years of experience providing care to all our neighboring counties.
